ATHENS FESTIVAL 2013: CIE MPTA / "ALI" - "NOUS SOMMES PAREILS"

Following the warm reception for Rayahzone, the Thabet brothers returned to Athens with a pair of works dedicated to the delicate balancing act that is co-existence. 

In "ALI" and "NOUS SOMMES PAREILS" Ali & Hèdi Thabet with the group Cie mpta (Compagnie les mains, les pieds et la tête aussi) presented their own look on camaraderie, coexistence, encounter, union and breakup. The performance was accompanied from a live orchestra comprised of Greek and Tunisian musicians who married the classic “rebetiko” with the traditional music of Tunisia.

The show was performed at Ktirio H of Peiraios 260 street between June 15th and June 17th. Licensing for this performance was granted by “The Artbassador” on behalf of creators members of SACD.
