Concert of the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens – Technopolis / Gazi
22 February 2016- As a part of «Athens Science Festival»
As a part of «Athens Science Festival» organized at Technopolis/ Municipality of Athens, the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens City presented a concert on February 22nd, 2016, at the Machining Centre. Works of classical composers were executed, along with scores from popular science fiction films. The Orchestra was conducted by Eleftherios Kalkanis.
Among others, the Orchestra performed Franz Schubert’s work Symphony No 8 in C Major, D944.
Τhe Artbassador provided the Orchestra with the music material of the work on behalf of the publisher Breitkopf & Ηaertel.
