The Play That Goes Wrong

After London, Paris, Warsaw and Budapest, the hilarious comedy has come to Greece

After London, Paris, Warsaw and Budapest, the hilarious comedy of Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields has come to Greece and is presented by the famous comedian Markos Seferlis at PEROKE Theatre / Athens. The play, which won the OLIVIER Award 2015 in the category of the Best New Comedy, has met huge success since its opening in London and of course, performances still continue at Duchess Theatre.

Reviews at PEROKE theatre started on New Year’s 2016 Day. The opening night was sold out, as most of Marko’s performances. Even though Markos Seferlis is an alternative stand-up comedian, whose projects are most of the times based on his own scripts, the British play has been proved to be an outstanding selection of his that happily surprised his audience.

Markos Seferlis plays the role of a Detective who is investigating a murder and is in search of the murderer hidden in the theatre, where a group of amateur actors is trying to perform a new play. However, as the title indicates, “everything goes wrong”…

THE ARTBASSADOR has licensed the Greek stage production of THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG on behalf of the three authors and their Agent UNITED AGENTS.
