A group of working-class housewives, exasperated by astronomical supermarket prices,  decide to do a ‘’proletarian’’ shopping by paying the price considered to be fair  - or nothing at all…. 

A hilarious and critically acclaimed satire by Italy's leading contemporary playwright, Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo, written in 1974 based to political context of the time. Forty seven years later this brilliant play remains fresh and as relevant as ever!
