On the eve of their dead son's 21st birthday, the family gathers in their country house, hoping to solve the mystery of his suicide, liberating themselves from the pain of loss.
"There Came a Gypsy Riding", by the multi-awarded Irish creator Frank McGuinness, premiered at the Almeida Theatre, London, in January 2007, causing great sensation. Portraying a hunting family drama, the great Irish playwright explores human relationships, through a terrible tragedy.
