19 July 2020 THE THESSALONIKI STATE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA AT THE MUSEUM OF BYZANTINE CULTURE THESSALONIKI

This summer, the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, with its famous brass and percussion ensemble, is featured in a new institution of the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports, ''All of Greece, One Culture'', performing in a special series of concerts, in the most impactful archeological sites and museums of North Greece, highlighting the country’s ancient heritage.

Under the music direction of Dimosthenis Fotiadis, the orchestra will present famous works by R. Strauss, T. Susato, P. Mascagni, C. Hazell, E. Morricone, A. L. Webber, C. Debussy, J. Parker, A. Piazolla and A.Schnittke, in the spacious atrium of Thessaloniki's Museum of Byzanine Culture on Sunday, July 19.
