Concerts in the Concert Hall Gardens

01 July 2015 METROPOLITAN SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA – VASSILIS TSABROPOULOS

The Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra (MSO) of Athens, the symphonic ensemble founded in 2014 by the internationally renowned pianist, conductor and composer Vassilis Tsabropoulos and is under the aegis of Ieronymos II, the Archbishop of Athens and Greece, after a successful winter season, continue their artistic course with many plans for this summer.

Their summer tour begin at the Concert Hall Gardens, where the MSO of Athens presents on July 1st 2015, in this green oasis of the Athens Megaron, a concert entitled "Ravel’s Bolero meets Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue". Mo Vassilis Tsabropoulos has a double role by conducting the Orchestra and playing the piano as well.

On the occasion of this concert, The Artbassador the MSO of Athens started their cooperation. The Artbassador provided the Orchestra with the music material of the Rhapsody in Blue, on behalf of the publisher SCHOTT MUSIC.
