CONTRACTIONS by Mike Bartlett

At Anesis Theatre, since 4 February!

Two women in a modern and friendly work environment.  The manager of a multinational company and her promising, dynamic employee discuss the terms of her contract, in which employees' relationships, freedom and choice are defined in the fine print…

Adapted by his earlier radio play “Love Contract” (BBC 4, 2007), Mike Bartlett’s stage play “Contractions” was first performed at the Royal Court Theatre, London, in May 2008, thrilling audiences and critics.

A compelling, ink-black satire which explores the lack of individualism and privacy in a growing corporate world, by the multi awarded playwright Mike Bartlett, one of Britain’s most acclaimed and provocative creators.
