Αt the English School, Nicosia, since 14 May!Berlin 1946, in the American Occupation Zone. The confrontation between art and power comes to the surface during the dramatic interrogation of the celebrated conductor Wilhelm Furtwängler, who has been accused of having served the Nazi regime.
"Taking sides", by the award-winning playwright Ronald Harwood, premiered at the Minerva Theatre, Chichester in 1995, before transferring to West End, Criterion Theatre and was nominated the 1996 Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Play.
A brave and deeply moving play, which examines timeless moral dilemmas, in a powerful performance.
