PÉNÉLOPE- OPERA by Gabriel Fauré PANHELLENIC PREMIERE

Τhe City of Athens Culture, Sports & Youth Organization, OPANDA, in collaboration with the Athens State Orchestra & the City of Athens Chorus,  presents the lyrical drama “Pénélope”, by Gabriel Fauré, based on a libretto by René Fauchois.

Under the music direction of the conductor Pierre Dumoussaud, the Orchestra along with a brilliant cast of French and Greek lyrical singers, will bring to life the epic heroes of this outstanding work, which drawing inspiration from “Odyssey”, features Gabriel  Fauré's unique, musical world.

THE ARTBASSADOR provided the Orchestra with the music material of the work, on behalf of the Publishing House Wise Music Group.
