AVANT DE S’ENVOLER by Florian Zeller

André and Madeleine have lived together for over fifty years. So much so that they have become one, cemented by tenderness and time. But as André starts losing his memory, everything change, their future seems uncertain and love is called upon to cover the loss of memory.

" Avant de s'envoler", by the multi-awarded creator Florian Zeller, one of the most celebrated contemporary playwrights, was premiered in 2016, at the Théâtre de l'Œuvre, directed by Ladislas Chollat, with  Robert Hirsch and Isabelle Sadoyan in the leading roles.

Delving into the psyche of a man in old age who is losing touch with reality, this outstanding work is a deeply nostalgic celebration of love, even beyond its inevitable end.
