ROBERTO ZUCCO by Bernard-Marie Koltès

At Proskinio Theate, since 23 October!

After escaping from prison, a young serial killer wanders through the urban jungle, embarking on a terrifying journey between violence and forgiveness.

Inspired by the true story of the Italian serial killer Roberto Succo, Koltès's last play is a landmark work of modern dramaturgy, which examines the social mechanisms leading to crime.

Written in 1988, the year of Succo’s suicide in prison, "Roberto Zucco" first presented in Berlin (1990), while its French premiere followed in 1991, at the Théâtre National de la Colline in Paris.

An outstanding drama parable about violence and freedom, in an absolutely must see performance!
