The romantic story of Charlie Chaplin’s Little Tramp and his misadventures, as he falls in love with a blind flower girl during the Great Depression period.

Widely considered as one of the greatest films of all time and the highest accomplishment of Chaplin’s career, “City Lights” was an instant hit upon release on January 30, 1931. Funny, lyrical and romantic, this critically acclaimed work became a legendary film with an unsurpassed final scene, which, according to critic James Agee, “is enough to shrivel your heart... the highest moment in movies”.

The National Theatre of Greece has created a magical performance on live stage based on Chaplin's film masterpiece. The show is full of action, live music and songs, in a unique performance-tribute to Charlie Chaplin, one of the greatest artists of the 20th century!
