JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF MUSIC-OPERA

Continuing its famous interactive concert series, the Athens State Orchestra presents the“Journey to the Center of the Music-Opera”, featuring a marvelous exploration to the opera genre.

Designed to introduce symphonic music to audiences through multimedia, the event highlights the evolution of the opera, featuring music, videos, historical analysis and personal stories, exploring hidden symbolism and musical patterns.

Under the music direction of the conductor Lukas Karytinos, the Orchestra will perform excerpt from beloved operas by G.Puccini, J. Offenbach, G. Rossini,  G. Bizzet, W. A. Mozart, C. Monteverdi, to name only a few.
