The Theatre of Neos Kosmos gives "The loan"

Is it possible for an ordinary man to request a loan from a banker with no other warranty, but his word?

The difficulty of obtaining a loan in Spain inspired Jordi Galcerán, to write “El Crédito" (The Loan), a hilarious comedy that Greek theatergoers have the opportunity to enjoy until April 2016, at the Main Stage of the Theater of Neos Kosmos / Athens.

Is it possible for an ordinary man to request a loan from a banker with no other warranty, but his word? The ingenious hero of the play bets in his “irresistible charm” to use it as a threat against the banker's rejection. He claims that if the banker doesn't give him the loan, he will seduce his wife.

The two protagonists Michalis Economou and John Sarakatsanis, under the direction of Vangelis Theodoropoulos and Pantelis Dentakis cause the laugh and express perfectly the author’s point of view towards the fears and difficulties, we all pretty much face.

The lyrics and music of Phoebus Delivorias are a great touch to the Greek performance of the play, which is translated by “Els de Paros”, a team of translators consisted by Maria Chatziemmanouil, Dimitris Psarras, Yiannis Mantas and Alex Baveas and represented by The Artbassador in their translation agreement with the Theatre of Neos Kosmos.

"El Crédito” (The Loan), which won the first prize in “Contemporary Catalan Theatre of Girona” 2011 tournament, as it is presented by this talented team of Greek artists, has already gained the public’s reception and warm applause.
