TWO CHARACTER PLAY by Tennessee Williams
At Fournos Theatre, since 28 April!Finding themselves deserted by their troupe and faced with an audience expecting a performance, Clare and Felice, actors and siblings, decide to enact The Two-Character Play, improvising on memory and creating a performance, in which becomes incredibly difficult to differentiate themselves from their roles!
Reality and fantasy are interwoven with terrifying power in Tennessee Williams’ haunting play, which premiered in London at the Hampstead Theatre in 1967.
Williams himself had great affection for this work, and described it as follows: "My most beautiful play since Streetcar, the very heart of my life."
