The Greek National Opera Ballet appears for the first time at the magnificent Kallimarmaron Stadium of Athens, with Zorba by Mikis Theodorakis a classical work, landmark of the modern Greek culture.
Alexis Zorbas, literary hero in the famous novel Life and Times of Alexis Zorbas, written by Nikos Kazantzakis, is a Greek symbol whose substance was transferred in Mikis Theodorakis’ extraordinary music and is renowned throughout the world.
Zorbas will come to life by the dancers of the Greek National Opera Ballet through Lorca Massine’s magnificent classical choreography.

With the participation of the Orchestra, the Chorus, Principal Dancers, Soloists, Coryphées and Corps de ballet of the GNO
The Artbassador licensed the ballet performance and provided the Greek National Opera with the music material of the work, on behalf of the music publisher SCHOTT MUSIC.
