	William Luce's iconic play "Barrymore: The Rise and Fall of an Idol", is widely considered as one of the most important theatrical portraits ever written.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	After its 1996 debut at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Ontario Canada, the play was transfered to Broadway, with Christopher Plummer in the title role, earning him the 1997 Tony Award for Best Actor.</p>

	Honoring the memory of the great conductor Odysseas Dimitriadis, the Athens State Orchestra in collaboration with the Athens Conservatoire, presents&nbsp;a concert - tribute to his long and notable career.</p>

	From the podium of the Bolshoi to the Tchaikovsky Conservatory and Athens State Orchestra's podium,&nbsp; Dimitriadis marked the 20th century as a composer, arranger and conductor of international prestige,&nbsp; presenting audiences great works of Russian and Greek repertoire.</p>

	Under the music direction of the conductor Ch. Kolovos, the Orchestra will present works and arias by Zacharia Paliashvili, Odysseas Dimitriadis, Aristotelis Koundouroff, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Alexander Borodin, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Spyridon Samaras, Anton Rubinstein and Modest Mussorgsky.</p>

	Kip Williams’ astonishingly inventive solo adaptation of “The Picture of Dorian Gray,” one of Oscar Wilde’s most celebrated stories, was first produced by Sydney Theatre Company, and premiered at Roslyn Packer Theatre, in 2020.</p>
<p>
	Following its great success the play transferred to the West End and later to Broadway thrilling audiences and critics.</p>
<p>
	A classic masterpiece, about the cost of beauty and sensual fulfilment, in an explosive theatrical reinvention, which is a magnificent mirror to our times.</p>
