The Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens at the Benaki Museum

On the 23rd of October the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens presented in a unique concert which took place at the Amphitheatre of the Benaki Museum, the emblematic work APOLLON MUSAGETE BALLET IN TWO SCENES of the composer Igor Stravinsky.

The program of the concert also included works by Franz - Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The Orchestra was conducted by Andreas Tselikas while guest soloist of the evening was Fernando Nina.

The Artbassador provided the Orchestra with the music material of Stravinsky’s work on behalf of the music publisher BOOSEY & HAWKES LTD
