ORPHANS by Dennis Kelly

At Gloria Theatre, since 16 March!

Helen and Danny’s quiet night in, is interrupted by the arrival of Helen’s younger brother Liam, covered in blood, who claims to have found someone injured on the street. But as the story unfolds, what truly happened seems less clear.

Dennis Kelly’s 2009 thrilling play “Orphans”, premiered at the 2009 Edinburgh Fringe Festival to great acclaim from audiences and critics alike, winning the Fringe First and Herald Angel award. After a month’s run, the play was transferred to Birmingham Repertory Theatre and later to Soho Theatre, in London.

A contemporary suspense story, which explores the conflict between family ties and moral responsibility, questioning what are the boundaries we have to cross in order to protect ourselves and our loved ones!
