During the Argentine military dictatorship, Valentin, a political activist and Molina, a homosexual serving eight years for deviant behavior, share a cell in a Latin American prison.Two radically different people, who initially clash but over time will come to know each other and develop a surprising relationship between them, redefining their choices and future.

Written in 1976, by the Argentine novelist and playwright Manuel Puig while living in exile, the “El beso de la mujer araña”, was first staged at the Bush Theatre, London (1985) in an adaptation by Puig himself, causing great sensation. An emblematic work, which was instantly established as a great classic of contemporary literature, earning Manuel Puig international acclaim!
