E.Moundrouvali

Elena Moundrouvali was born in Rome to an Italian mother and a Greek father and graduated from the Italian School of Athens. She holds Undergraduate Degrees in Theatre Studies by the Leo De Berardinis School, Rome and also by the D. Fotiadis Theater School, Athens.

As an actress, under the pseudonym Elena De Vallis, she has participated in theatrical performances by N. Charalambous, S. Evagelatos and N. Dafnis, collaborating at the same time with the Italian Educational Institute of Athens and the Department of Pirandelli Studies of Agrigento.

She was active in the field of advertising and the production of audiovisual works, collaborating with many companies, such as Stefi Productions, Max Productions and Akmi Digital. The first plays she translated, "The last moons", by Furio Bordon and "Ugo", by Carla Vistarini, were presented at the Theater Stage, Athens, directed by Antonis Antoniou. In 2002, she participated in the cinematographic production of Studio Canal Urania, "Dillo con parole mie" by Daniele Luchetti.

After a long absence from the theatrical scene, she returned in 2020 with the play "Dear Elvis, dear Janis", by Furio Bordon, directed by T. Gogo . She has the exclusivity of the translations of Furio Bordon's works and in recent years, she has been entrusted with the works of Edoardo Erba, Gianni Clementi and Gioia Battista. At the same time, she maintains a close collaboration with Arcadia Media of Rome, which represents, among others, Stefano Massini, Gabriele di Luca and Davide Enia. In 2023 she participated, as an actor and dialogue coach, in the Italian television production "Kostas" (RAI 2 channel), directed by Milena Cocozza.

The current theatrical season (2023-24), Furio Bordon's notable play "The last moons",  directed by R. Eskenazi and starring S. Kyriakidis, is presented at Corenet Theatre, with great success, as well as Edoardo Elba's play UTOYA, presented at Argo Theatre, in which E.Moundrouvali signes the translation and also has the starring role. She has two wonderful children who inspire and support her to fulfill her personal and professional dreams.
